How To Redesign a City

The new public identity of Zurich Tourism is one of the most exciting projects in destination marketing within the last few years. It was unveiled at the end of 2017 and cleverly combines tradition and modernity: based on a flexible logo system which can carry different content, it allows an endless number of variations. At the same time, the design also references the 1960s heyday of graphic design in Zurich. The Art director and graphic designer responsible, Marcus Kraft, will guide us through the initial stages of this colossal task and the considerations behind it.
