Kaleidoscope

Little known by the general public, NASA posts each day a random image taken by one of their satellites. «Kaleidoscope» transforms this static picture into interactive fragments that are put into motion to form an ever-changing view.

Started as a poster generator, this web application continues its lively mission of turning passive viewers into participative observers. Similar to its analogue counterpart, «Kaleidoscope» invites you to play with predefined elements, generate different symmetrical patterns, and thereby enjoy the feeling of observing Earth through a one of a kind optical instrument.
