Conversation #7

«Conversation #7» is a live conversation between an audience, a printed text and a sound recording. Taking part in the performance involves reading, listening and staring. All this leads to a playful narrative of experience. It’s a continuation of Duncan Speakmans and Tineke De Meyer's project ‘Six Conversations’, in which they sought to develop books where physical print and digital content work in harmony, one story told across two platforms. «Conversation #7» has been presented at the following events and venues: Third Coast Audio Festival, Chicago; Soundhouse, Barbican, London; Watershed, Bristol; IDFA Doclab, Amsterdam; Oorzaken Festival, Amsterdam and TED X, Amsterdam.
