New Realities: Design – Arts – Technology

«The Fabricant» is a digital fashion house leading the fashion industry towards a new sector of digital-only clothing. They specialise in photo-real 3D fashion design and animation. Their work operates at the intersection of fashion and technology, creating digital couture and fashion experiences that are always digital, never physical. They aim to show the world that clothing does not need to be physical to exist. They believe the digital-only fashion sector will open up new creative avenues beyond the limits of the physical world while promoting sustainability and drastically reducing the negative environmental impacts of the current fashion paradigm.

In their keynote, they will show a selection of work as well as the outlook for the fashion industry. Making digital fashion wearable in a new space called the metaverse which opens up new possibilities of co-creation and collaboration to create an immersive experience, accessible for an inclusive audience.

Anna Liedtke is a 3D fashion designer based in Amsterdam. She began her career ten years ago as a conventional fashion designer in the industry, where she started implementing 3D software to replace the conventional process of designing and developing a collection. In her role as Senior 3D Fashion Designer for The Fabricant, she specializes in pattern and texture creation. She combines her physical knowledge and practice to create new experiences that would never exist in the physical world.
