Triggered by the captivating yet puzzling conversations between artist and scientist during the Artists-in-Labs residency at the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology in Saudi Arabia, Drawing Guides offers access to a new form of knowledge and serves as an original tool to explore your creativity.
These template rulers invite you to sway your way through complex scientific concepts and phenomena with simple and graspable visualisations. They empower the generation of ideas in an intuitive and accessible way, and playfully encourage you to make use of science to invent your own scenarios and stories.
The workshop will playfully introduce kids to the science of polarized light. With the help of drawing tools, the participants will create their own stories about the secret communication between octopus and human. Kids will get to take home their creations in the form of a comic.
