random(noTitle)
The aesthetics of the unintentional
There is no way to predict or make sense of coincidence. It just happens. «random(noTitle)» is a series of patterns generated by a code that draws on the power of coincidence. The random quality opens up a whole spectrum of different aesthetics, which in this practical manifestation of unintentionality relies entirely on artificially generated data. Coincidence (alongside intuition) is generally viewed as one of the most important sources of the creative process. As many areas of our daily lives become increasingly subject to automation and digitization, the future, but also creative activities. This will affect how we think about creative work, wich event today continues to be defined by a term such as «aura» and «genius». The «random(noTitle)» collection provokes digital coincidence. The generated pattern contains specific randomness which can only be achieved by artificially generated data.
